After a break of several years, Clopton held a Midsummer Fete on Sunday 22nd June at the village hall and field.
The wonderful weather, wide variety of stalls, live music and a delicious range of hot and cold food and drinks, together with prizes and gifts donated by various local businesses, all helped towards making it a great success.
The Parish Council Chairman, Mr Chris Angwin, said that everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves and the Fete Committee has already agreed that another event will be held next Midsummer Sunday, 21st June 2015.
Mrs Mandy Jordan, the Regional Fundraising Manager for MacMillan, thanked Clopton for supporting the fund raising efforts in Suffolk and for bringing to people's attention the exceptional help and work the MacMillan nurses do for patients and families.
